Privacy policy

Information notice in accordance with article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/03 – the Personal data protection code.


What the data is used for

The data is processed for purposes directly related and instrumental to the provision of the service requested.

In addition, the data will also be processed for market research and marketing purposes, for sending promotional material and commercial information about products and services offered by companies on the portal, in whatever way and by whatever means. It is also used to evaluate customer satisfaction with the quality of the products and/or services provided and with the companies which use the portal, either via specialist market research companies or directly, through interviews conducted in person or over the telephone, questionnaires, etc.


How the data is processed

The data is processed using mainly electronic and computerised means, and is stored in both electronic and paper form, or indeed on any other suitable medium, and in compliance with the minimum security standards established in the Technical Regulations concerning minimum security standards (Appendix B of the Personal data protection code)


Providing your data is optional

Although providing your data is optional, should you choose to withhold the data required for compiling the Registration Form for Access to the Service, even in part, this may make it impossible to provide the Service in full.


Who your data may be disclosed to

Personal data may be disclosed to the company staff and managers responsible for data processing, who have been duly trained about personal data security and protection.
In any case, the disclosure or communication of personal data to parties which do not need to be involved in providing the services is prohibited.


Your rights

As per article 7 (Rights of access to personal data and other rights) of the Personal data protection code, as the data subject you have the right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning you is being held, even if it has not yet been committed to a storage medium, and to receive a copy of it in an intelligible format. You have the right to know:

  • where your personal data originated from
  • the purposes of processing it and the methods used
  • the logic applied where processing is carried out by electronic means
  • the particulars identifying the data controller and those responsible for data processing
  • the parties or types of party to whom the data may be disclosed or who may acquire knowledge of it as designated representatives in Italian state territory, or appointed officers or managers.
You have the right:
  • to have your data updated or supplemented
  • to have any illegally processed data deleted, anonymised or frozen; this includes data which needs to be kept for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed.
You have the right not to give your permission:

wholly or in part, and for legitimate reasons, for the personal data concerning you to be processed, including that which was collected for the purposes stated; and for the personal data concerning you to be processed for direct sales, market research or commercial communication purposes or in order to send advertising material.
